Job Summary
This is a pure hunting sales role focused on new customer acquisition and new logo growth within the Singapore market. The Account Manager will be responsible for aggressively identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities. The role requires a highly driven, competitive, and resilient sales professional who will work closely with internal stakeholders to execute go-to-market strategies and exceed revenue targets.
Must Have
- Proactively hunt and acquire new customers through outbound prospecting, networking, and territory planning
- Build and execute new logo acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify, qualify, and close opportunities by positioning Trend Micro’s cybersecurity solutions
- Engage and influence CIOs, CISOs, and senior decision-makers
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Minimum 6+ years of sales experience, preferably within cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise technology
- Proven track record in hunting roles, with success in new logo acquisition and territory expansion
- Experience selling into SME or commercial segments in Singapore
- Strong ability to sell value-based solutions to senior executives in complex sales cycles
Good to Have
- Background from System Integrators (SI) or vendors
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, UEBA, SIEM, SOAR
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a pure hunting sales role focused on new customer acquisition and new logo growth within the Singapore market. The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for aggressively identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities.
The role requires a highly driven, competitive, and resilient sales professional who is comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold engagement, and building pipeline from scratch. Candidates from System Integrators (SI) or similar environments are welcome, provided they have a strong hunting mindset and are motivated by new business development.
The AM will work closely with internal stakeholders including Pre-Sales, Channel, and Marketing teams to execute go-to-market strategies and exceed revenue targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively hunt and acquire new customers through outbound prospecting, networking, and territory planning
- Build and execute new logo acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth in the Singapore market
- Identify, qualify, and close opportunities by positioning Trend Micro’s cybersecurity solutions and value proposition
- Develop deep understanding of assigned territory, target industries, and competitive landscape
- Engage and influence CIOs, CISOs, and senior decision-makers to create and advance sales opportunities
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Channel teams to drive demand generation and deal execution
- Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances (AWS, Microsoft, VMware, Google) to accelerate new business
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account information in Salesforce
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations from initial engagement through deal closure
- Communicate market feedback, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to internal stakeholders
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6+ years of sales experience, preferably within cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise technology
- Proven track record in hunting roles, with success in new logo acquisition and territory expansion
- Experience selling into SME or commercial segments in Singapore
- Background from System Integrators (SI) or vendors is welcome
- Strong ability to sell value-based solutions to senior executives in complex sales cycles
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, UEBA, SIEM, SOAR is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Highly motivated, aggressive, and results-driven with a strong competitive mindset
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
