Job Description

Luxoft's Application Modernization Practice seeks a Modernization Architect to contribute to diverse projects. Responsibilities encompass developing and supporting solution architecture, communicating with clients about architectural designs, designing components within customer-provided frameworks, guiding development processes to meet architectural requirements, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The role demands experience in architecture development, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and a strong development background including assembler, optimization techniques, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and OOP/OOD principles. Cross-platform experience (*nix, Windows), understanding of the software development lifecycle, and teamwork skills are essential.

Must have:

2+ years architecture development experience
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Strong development background
Assembler, optimization, data structures, algorithms
Cross-platform experience (*nix, Windows)
Multi-threading expertise
OOP/OOD understanding
SW development lifecycle knowledge

Good to have:

Java
Python
C#

Project description

Application Modernization Practice is a horizontal practice, supporting all business verticals in Luxoft.

We are looking for a Modernization Architect who will be able to work with various projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and support solution architecture

Communication with customer regarding the architecture

Designing components inside special framework architecture provided by our customer

Guide development process, ensure it meets the architecture requirements

Skills

Must have

Experience in architecture development 2+yr

Cloud experience (at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP)

Strong development background,

Readiness to work with assembler,

Optimization: O-notation, data structures, algorithms;

Crossplatform-oriented (experience under *nix, Windows platforms);

Experienced with multi-threading (thread, process, synchronization primitives),

Strong understanding OOP/OOD,

Strong understanding of the SW development cycle,

Motivated to learn new things,

Team player,

Good communication skills.
