This includes safely driving in various weather conditions, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Drivers must maintain driving records, communicate with the base or supervisor, and verify shipping documents. Additional responsibilities may include operating a forklift, completing required training, and participating in safety programs. The job requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and the ability to handle minor vehicle repairs. The driver should be able to understand vehicle parts and should also follow company policies and procedures.
