Job Description

This role is within a core testing team supporting a large migration project. As a Murex Automation Tester, you'll be part of a team focused on automating Murex test cases using MxTest to accelerate project execution. Responsibilities include developing and executing MxTest scripts, automating reusable test cases for regression testing, and facilitating smooth project delivery. You'll contribute to accelerating testing processes through automation, regression and performance testing, and creating stubs for Murex and related applications. The role involves showcasing test execution, preparing automation statistics and reports, and collaborating with technical leads, project managers, and business analysts.

Project description

The role is with our core Testing team, which is supporting a big Migration Project. The role is part of the Automation testing team which aims to bring innovation and automation of Murex Test cases to accelerate the project execution.

Responsibilities

Techno Functional

Developing MxTest automation scripts for the Murex project

Execution of MxTest scripts

As part of the project we are looking to automate the test cases which can be reused for regression testing

Automation also is required to facilitate the smooth project delivery.

You are expected to help accelerate the testing processes by automating test cases, performing regression and performance tests, and creating stubs to support various testing around Murex and surrounding applications

You should be able to showcase the test execution and help in automation stats and automation report preparations

Must have

Total Experience 7 to 12+ Years

Murex Experience 3+ Years

Murex 3.1 experience 2+ Years

MxTest, Back office, Murex

Automation experience with Onyx experience of 2+ Years

Must have worked in the Financial Market Domain

Automation role requires working on scripts

Murex Testing, MX3.1 or Mx2.11 experience

Murex functional testing experience is a must on any or multiple Murex modules: Front Office, Back Office Integration, Accounting, and Datamart Reporting

Knowledge of financial market products

Understanding of the bank's front, middle, and back office operations, finance, and accounting. Experience and management of at least one Front to Back implementation within a financial services organization

Experience in vendor management and good IT risk understanding

Report comparison tools

Experience in Murex setup and functional tests using various Modules of Murex

Ability to work independently and take decisions

Experience in working directly with Technical leads, project managers, and Business Analysts in business and IT organization

Experience with Principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of the testing process

Experience in the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
