Job Description

Bounteous is seeking a Murex Datamart Reporting Consultant for a contract role. The consultant will be responsible for application development, maintenance projects, Murex upgrades, and greenfield implementations. This includes collaborating with the Treasury team on Murex Datamart solutions, ensuring deliverables meet project goals, and taking end-to-end ownership of DataMart reporting. The role involves promoting information security practices, assessing security risks, and ensuring data protection throughout the information lifecycle. Responsibilities also include working with various Murex reports and optimizing report and feeder performance.
Must have:
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Senior Datamart Consultant
  • Strong understanding of Murex reporting architecture and data models
  • Experience designing and implementing Murex 3.1 Datamart reports
  • Hands-on expertise with dynamic tables, feeders, and extractions
  • Solid knowledge of financial products like Forex, IRD, Equity, Credit
  • Proactive and self-driven with good communication skills
Good to have:
  • Background in Murex development, migration, and upgrade projects
  • Understanding of data model differences between Murex 2.11 and 3.1
  • Experience with Simulation, Accounting, P&L and Risk Matrix reports
  • Skilled in report and feeder optimization techniques
  • Effective team player in multicultural environments

Information Security Responsibilities

    • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
    • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
    • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
    • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

    • Serve as a Murex Datamart Reporting Consultant, contributing to application development, maintenance projects, Murex upgrades, and greenfield implementations
    • Collaborate with the Treasury team to plan, design, and deliver solutions involving Murex Datamart
    • Liaise with customer team leads to ensure deliverables meet expectations and project goals
    • Take end-to-end ownership of DataMart reporting deliverables and lead associated team activities

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5–8 years of experience in Murex 3.1 as a Senior Datamart Consultant
    • Strong understanding of Murex reporting architecture, data models, and Datamart configuration
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing Murex 3.1 Datamart reports
    • Background in Murex development, migration, and upgrade projects
    • Good understanding of data model differences between Murex 2.11 and 3.1
    • Experience working with Simulation, Accounting, P&L and Risk Matrix reports, including cash flow-based reports
    • Hands-on expertise with dynamic tables, pre/post filters, feeders, batch feeders, extractions, reporting tables, and processing scripts
    • Skilled in report and feeder optimization techniques
    • Solid knowledge of financial products such as Forex, IRD, Equity, and Credit
    • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Effective team player with sensitivity to multicultural environments.
