Gaijin, a developer of AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms like "War Thunder" and "Enlisted," is seeking an Office Manager / Personal Assistant for their team in Riga. The role involves actively managing the CEO's diary, organizing appointments and meetings, and handling general office operations. Responsibilities include vendor negotiations, managing office equipment and supplies, addressing employee queries, organizing events, and processing mail and invoices. The position also supports HR in general administration and assists with the onboarding of new hires by preparing workplaces.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience as an office manager
  • Excellent communication and business etiquette skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Russian, and Latvian
  • High responsibility and experience in solving non-standard tasks
  • Diligence, punctuality, and honesty
  • Willingness to be in touch and respond quickly

Job Details

Gaijin develops AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder", "Enlisted" and other games. The Gaijin team consists of hundreds of talented game developers from all over Europe and is constantly growing.

We are looking for an Office manager / Personal assistant to join our team in Riga

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively managing the CEO's diary, organizing appointments and meetings to ensure effective time management and focus on priorities and that the CEO is aware of diary commitments;
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the CEO Organize office operations and procedures;
  • Support for the HR in general administration;
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires (prepare the workplaces of the new employees);
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease;
  • Compile and present special reports;
  • Managing office and employee equipment and supplies;
  • Address employees' queries regarding office management issues;
  • Organizing events (e.g. on/off-site meetings, travels, etc);
  • Handling incoming mail and invoices.

Requirements:

  • Work experience as an office manager for at least 2 years;
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of business etiquette;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Russian and Latvian;
  • High level of responsibility and quality experience in solving non-standard tasks;
  • Diligence, punctuality, honesty;
  • Willingness to be in touch and respond quickly.
