LILT is seeking a Payment Support Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payments to linguists. This role involves leveraging internal systems and resources to resolve payment-related issues and providing support to both linguists and internal teams. Responsibilities include interfacing with freelance vendors, acting as the point of contact for payment inquiries, identifying payment amounts and associated documentation, confirming linguist rates, and locating paystubs and jobs. The ideal candidate will be adept at working independently and collaboratively, possessing strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Must have:
  • Strong knowledge of LILT's internal systems (LPD, SFDC, OPM, Payoneer)
  • Experience with SQL queries and database analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good to have:
  • Experience with Jira
  • Understanding of the translation industry

The Payment Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to linguists. They will leverage internal systems and resources to resolve payment-related issues and provide support to both linguists and internal teams.

Where you'll work:

This is a contract position based out of Argentina.

Authorization to work in Argentina is a precondition of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  •     Interface with vendors who work on freelancing jobs on the platform

  •     Be the point of contact for payment issues and take ownership of issues raised

  •     Identify the amount paid on a job.

  •     Locate a paystub and a job.

  •     Confirm a linguist's rate.

  •     Identify all documents paid on a job.

  •     Identify jobs not registered to the linguist's email.

Essential Skills:

  •     Strong knowledge of internal systems, including Linguist Performance Dashboard (LPD), Salesforce (SFDC), Offline Payments (OPM), and Payoneer.

  •     Experience with SQL queries and database analysis.

  •     Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  •     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  •     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  •     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

  •     Experience with Jira.

  •     Understanding of the translation industry.
