SmartBear is seeking a People & Culture Operations Partner for their Wroclaw team to support and enhance the full employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. This role involves solving problems, building relationships, and ensuring employees feel supported. The partner will be a key member of the People & Culture team, responsible for improving P&C processes, contributing to initiatives, and providing daily assistance to employees and managers globally. Key responsibilities include managing the employee lifecycle, HR administration, ensuring compliance with Polish labor law, handling employee relations, maintaining HR systems, and supporting projects and vendor collaborations.

SmartBear is looking for a People & Culture Operations Partner to join our Wroclaw team and play a vital role in delivering consistent, compliant, and people-first HR support in Poland and our other global locations.

What You’ll Do

As a People & Culture Operations Partner, you’ll be a key member of our People & Culture team, responsible for a wide range of operational and strategic support activities. You’ll have the chance to improve P&C processes, contribute to key initiatives, and provide daily assistance to employees and managers across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Support: Own and coordinate P&C processes including new hire onboarding, contract management, background checks, offboarding, and exit interviews to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Operational P&C Administration: Manage employee documentation, maintain P&C records, update labor postings, and respond to verification requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure alignment with Polish labor law and internal P&C policies. Partner with cross-functional teams to support audits and maintain data integrity.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers. Handle day-to-day employee inquiries, support performance and leave processes, and resolve employee issues with discretion and care.
  • HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain and update employee data using BambooHR (or similar systems), track key P&C metrics, and support internal reporting.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with local and global People & Culture teams on projects related to well-being, employee engagement, process improvement, and global policy rollout.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Partner with third-party vendors on topics like payroll support, perks, and benefits administration.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2–5+ years in an HR Coordinator, Generalist, or People Partner role, ideally in a dynamic or multinational company.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Polish labor law, HR compliance requirements, and common HR practices.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills—able to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data and documentation.
  • Great interpersonal communication—in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable with HRIS tools like BambooHR or similar platforms.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
