Job Description
Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking early-career Java Engineers for its Pioneer Talent Program. This full-time role involves hands-on experience through tailored training and mentorship within the dynamic world of Web3. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on developing new applications for crypto-related products such as exchanges, fiat gateways, futures, and lending. Responsibilities include participating in various development stages (POC, MVP, launched product), evaluating requirements, delivering solutions, designing and implementing architecture, performing performance tuning, troubleshooting incidents, improving system sustainability, and ensuring coding quality. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of backend development experience, expertise in core Java and the Spring framework, proficiency in MySQL and Redis, and knowledge of distributed systems including Kafka.

About the team
Binance Cloud is a comprehensive exchange infrastructure solution that enables qualified entities to effortlessly deploy and launch a crypto exchange. Leveraging Binance’s cutting-edge technology, Binance Cloud provides top-tier liquidity, strong regulatory compliance, and system stability, with ample room for customization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team with the development of new applications across crypto-related products, including but not limited to crypto exchange, fiat gateway, futures, margin, lending, etc.
- Participate in the applications with different stages, covering POC, MVP, and launched product, hence, this role would face several types of jobs, such as requirement evaluation, workable solutions delivery, architecture design/implementation.
- Perform performance tuning, online incidents troubleshooting, improve system sustainability and maintainability, and technology innovation.
- Ensure coding quality on the core functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with backend development.
- Expertise in core Java and familiarity with the Spring framework ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in MySQL and working knowledge of Redis.
- Skilled in distributed system design with an understanding of Kafka and its underlying principles.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and quickly acquire new knowledge.
- Excellent cross-team communication skills.
