Job Description

The Planning Director supports the Senior Management team, ensuring the team delivers top-tier results. They lead client activities, creating innovative plans that meet client objectives and key performance indicators. They collaborate with Trading counterparts for alignment and connect with internal and external networks for efficient operations, considering internal products when planning solutions. They identify revenue opportunities, participate in client pitches, support and coach the team, and develop best practices. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing and campaign management and also necessitates strong skills in client relationship and team management.
Must Have:
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools for digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working with key relevant sectors.
  • Proven track record of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Excellent client relationship skills.

Job Description:
  • Supports the Senior Management team to ensure that the team are working to deliver best in market results.
  • Leads client activity to deliver innovative and ambitious plans that deliver client objectives and key performance indicators
  • Liaises frequently with Trading counterparts to ensure plans align with trading priorities
  • Connects with internal and external networks to deliver against one operating model, considering internal products when delivering planning solutions to clients
  • Seeks understanding of clients’ fee models in order to maximize Dentsu revenue
  • Identifies business development opportunities for Dentsu, from within the existing client portfolio and prospective clients, focused on delivering internal revenue
  • Plays a key part in client pitches, delivering market leading planning responses
  • Supports and coaches their team to ensure that they work to their full potential
  • Develops best practice and more efficient ways of working and to ensure this is followed by teams

Professional Skill
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools such as IMS, META Ad Manager Google Analytics and other platform tools for effective digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to a good standard

Key Experiences
  • Experience of working with key relevant sectors
  • Proven track record of working under pressure / to tight deadlines
