Job Description

As a Primary Care Physician at Carbon Health, you will provide exceptional, patient-centered care within a high-performing team. Your responsibilities include managing a patient panel towards clinical quality targets, leading daily clinic operations with medical assistants and support staff, and collaborating with the Central Support RN team for patient results follow-up. You will also supervise advanced practice clinicians, contribute to care program implementation, and deliver evidence-based primary care, including virtual and in-clinic patient evaluations. Carbon Health is transforming healthcare with advanced technology like CarbyOS, an AI-powered EHR designed to reduce administrative burden and enhance patient care.
Must have:
  • State-licensed and board-certified physician (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Primary care procedural skills (skin biopsies, joint injections, etc.)
  • Passion for relationship-driven, human-centered primary care
  • Ability to connect with and care for patients of all backgrounds
  • Commitment to lifelong learning of evidence-based medicine
  • Ability to learn and use technology for patient care
  • Desire to contribute to a new healthcare delivery model
  • Ability to promote a respectful, positive team environment

Your Role

As an essential member of our clinical team, you’ll provide exceptional, patient-centered care while being part of a high-performing team committed to excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a panel of patients towards evidence-based clinical quality targets

  • Lead day-to-day operations with your team of medical assistants and support staff 

  • Work collaboratively with the Central Support RN team to follow up on patient results

  • Supervise and teach advanced practice clinicians

  • Provide input and implement care programs, pathways, and new product enhancements

  • Provide excellent preventive, proactive, compassionate, evidence-based primary care

  • Conduct patient evaluations both in-clinic and virtually

About You

  • State-licensed physician and board-certified physician (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Primary care procedural skills, including but not limited to skin biopsies, skin tag removal, wart treatment, joint injections, IUD insertion, and removal

  • Passion for relationship-driven, human-centered primary care

  • Ability to connect and deliver care to patients of all backgrounds

  • Commitment to lifelong learning of evidence-based medicine

  • Ability to learn and use technology to manage patient care

  • Desire to provide input to build a new and exciting model for healthcare delivery

  • Ability to promote a respectful, transparent, positive team environment
