Join us! The GoFundMe team is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Principal Integrated Marketing Manager to help drive our mission of connecting people in need with those who can help. You will play a critical role in the execution of our marketing strategies, focusing on user acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate is a creative and data-driven marketer who can effectively manage campaigns, measure impact, and collaborate across teams.

This is a hybrid position; candidates considered for this role will be located in San Francisco. There will be an in-office requirement of 2x a week.

 

The Job…

  • Develop, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid media, email, content marketing, and social media, to increase brand awareness and user acquisition.
  • Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop compelling content that communicates our brand’s mission, drives engagement, and resonates with target audiences.
  • Oversee social media strategies and content to build community engagement and expand GoFundMe’s social presence.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools, providing regular reporting on KPIs and actionable insights to enhance results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Customer Success, and Analytics, to ensure alignment and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Conduct research on market trends, audience behavior, and competitive activity to help inform and improve marketing strategies.
  • Assist in managing and allocating marketing budget effectively across campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and suggest new ideas to drive growth and engagement.

You… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in an integrated marketing role, ideally within a digital or technology-driven company.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on performance marketing and brand growth.
  • Proven experience supporting product development and target ICPs and have executed key product and brand messaging in owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and/or similar platforms to track and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing projects and meeting deadlines.

Preferred… 

  • Experience working with mission-driven or nonprofit brands.
  • Proficiency with marketing and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media best practices.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $180,000 - $240,00 + equity + benefits.  As this is a hybrid position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
