Job Description

As a Process Engineer, you will define the plant's equipment needs to support engineering changes and new projects and ensure the acquisition, installation, and validation of equipment according to the start-up schedule. Responsibilities include defining equipment needs for new projects, leading the team in the installation, validation, and continuous improvement of components, ensuring equipment availability at the SOP, ensuring the closure of reliability reporting points, following up with suppliers, preparing documentation for new machines, and contributing to supplier selection for equipment purchases.
Must have:
  • Bac+5 / Engineering degree in a technical education (or equivalent)
  • Advanced English is mandatory
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Problem solving techniques

Position Summary

Define the plant's equipment needs, to support engineering changes and new projects, as well as ensure the acquisition, installation and validation of equipment according to the start-up schedule.

Your Role

As a Process Engineer, you will be in charge of these various accountabilities:

  • Ensure the definition of the need for (Assembly Tables, Assembly Lines, WPO; Assembly Area Preconditions) for any new project as well as the budget required to issue the IR.
  • Lead the team in the installation, validation and continuous improvement actions on the components (Quality, volume, cost) of the Assembly Tables, Assembly Lines, WPO.
  • Ensure the availability of equipment at the SOP by making the necessary anticipations (alert suppliers, alert the MEC...).
  • Ensure the closure of all reliability reporting points under its responsibility.
  • Follow up with suppliers and ensure that the equipment received meets specifications.
  • Prepare all documentation concerning newly integrated machines.
  • Contribute to the choice of suppliers for the purchase of equipment for the means of production.

Your Background
