Job Description

As a Procurement Supervisor at GoTo, you will be a key member of the Jakarta-based Procurement team, overseeing the Procure to Pay (P2P) process for GoTo Business in Indonesia. This involves sourcing HR Services, Operations, and Outsourcing goods/services across various categories. You will lead Procurement Specialists and handle assigned sourcing activities, honing your skills in a dynamic environment. This role requires strong collaboration with GoTo's stakeholders to manage the full spectrum of sourcing activities for diverse vendors, utilizing negotiation and management skills to achieve consistent earnings stability.
Must have:
  • Lead Vendor Selection process to ensure company needs are met and best deals secured, following GoTo Procurement Procedure and policies.
  • Drive cost reduction and avoidance initiatives to optimize operating costs, mitigating risks in Source-to-Pay and supply chain.
  • Own the Source-to-Pay process, ensuring seamless transitions from capturing business needs to vendor payment.
  • Lead and execute Vendor Selection Process for tactical and strategic bidding, aiming for cost optimization.
  • Ensure proper documentation for vendor selection to establish transparency and accountability.
  • Identify relevant Subject Matter Experts (SME) for comprehensive vendor evaluation.
  • Execute cost-efficiency initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Increase Procurement’s technology and platform utilization, targeting SLA optimization and Sourcing Quality.
  • Develop a Sourcing competencies framework for people development within the Procurement Sourcing organization.
  • Build vendor market and internal stakeholder networks to support Procurement collaborations.
  • Lead and collaborate on Vendor Value Creation Programs with critical/valued vendors for innovation and productivity.

About The Role

As our Procurement Supervisor in GoTo, you’ll be an integral player within the GoTo Procurement team based in Jakarta. We oversee all things related to the Procure to Pay (P2P) process to support GoTo Business in Indonesia. Specifically, we do sourcing activities that relate to goods/services in several categories with the nature of procuring HR Services, Operation and Outsourcing and working with cross business units who require the such product/services nature.

You’ll be assisting in leading Procurement Specialists within the team and also as a single contributor in handling the assigned sourcing activities. As our Procurement Supervisor, you’ll be part of the Procurement team that directly liaises with GoTo's stakeholders. Your main objective will be to look after the full spectrum of sourcing activities for a variety of portfolio vendors. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your negotiation and management skills, getting us even closer to our ultimate goal of consistent and efficient earnings stability.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Vendor Selection process to ensure that the company is getting what it really needs as well as the best deal in the market, following Goto Procurement Procedure while adhering to relevant Policies and Procedures within the organization
  • Drive cost reduction and avoidance initiatives to support organization operating cost optimization through the execution of Procurement activities, including mitigation of any relevant risks within the Source-to-Pay process and supply chain
  • Owning the Source-to-Pay process by ensuring a seamless transition throughout the steps, starting from capturing business needs up to Vendor Payment
  • Lead and execute Vendor Selection Process for both Tactical and Strategic bidding and aim for cost optimization target
  • Responsible for ensuring proper documentation upon vendor selection process to establish transparency and accountability
  • Identifying relevant Subject Matter Experts (SME) to be included in the vendor selection process to support a comprehensive evaluation
  • Identify and execute cost-efficiency initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Increase Procurement’s technology and platform utilization and target for SLA optimization and Sourcing Quality
  • Develop a Sourcing competencies framework as part of people development within the Procurement Sourcing organization
  • Build the right vendor market and network as well as internal stakeholders, to support the collaborations within Procurement processes
  • Lead and collaborate Vendor Value Creation Program together with Critical/Valued vendors to deliver innovation, better speed to market, productivity, asset utilization, sustainability, etc.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelors of business, supply chain management, or any other related field (knowledge of related markets i.e. General Procurement Categories, is preferred). Preferably has been working in Procurement for at minimum 4 years and/ or in a supervisory role
  • Strong business and commercial mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced in verbal and written English proficiency
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Have a basic understanding of certain areas (i.e: finance, accounting, tax and legal)
