Job Description

As a Product Analyst at Product Madness, you'll collaborate with game teams, implementing tracking, creating insightful reports on player behavior and product performance, and shaping the future direction of games. Responsibilities include developing data pipelines, monitoring KPIs, investigating production issues, optimizing features and A/B tests, and working closely with product and game teams. This role requires strong SQL, Excel, and reporting tool skills, along with a passion for data and excellent communication abilities. You'll contribute to improving top-grossing mobile games and work within a global, supportive team.

We are looking for a talented Product Analyst ready to join our growing team.

In this role, you will support the game teams within, working alongside other analysts and data scientists. You will encounter a variety of challenges covering the full data work spectrum, from data mining to reporting, and have an opportunity to support different business stakeholders. Your contribution will help shape Product Madness games into their best versions yet.

What You'll Do

  • Working closely with product and the game teams, implement tracking in games to capture player data and create reports that give further insight into player behavior and product performance 

  • Form new insights and perspectives that help us continue to delight the people playing our games 

  • Produce reports and deliver insights that have an impact on the future direction of our games and the game roadmap 

  • Work with game teams and DWH to produce end to end data pipelines that empower end users 

  • Work closely with product and game teams to create reports and monitoring of daily KPIs 

  • Investigating issues in the Production environment and optimizing existing product features and A/B tests 

  • Apply creative thinking towards designing, testing, verifying, and implementing solutions 

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a product or data analyst role 

  • Strong SQL and Excel skills 

  • Experience of standard reporting tools such as Looker/QlikView/Tableau/etc. 

  • Strong in mathematics and quantitative analysis with a passion for numbers and data 

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills to work well with stakeholders 

Nice-to have: 

  • Experience with Python and/or R 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar 

  • Interest in gaming and the mobile game industry, or any experience in these industries 

  • Working experience setting up A/B-tests would be desirable
