Product Designer - Enterprise Lead

Perplexity is an AI-powered answer engine rapidly growing as a leading AI platform, backed by over $1B in venture investment. This role involves designing new experiences for enterprise and general multiplayer use cases, shipping features that blend established UI paradigms with novel AI applications, and creating intuitive software for global users. The ideal candidate will work independently, strategically identifying problems and solutions, and contributing to a process that ensures frequent, high-quality releases. This role requires a holistic approach, caring about product, interaction, brand, growth, copywriting, engineering, and marketing.

Must Have

• Comfort with prototyping or coding your ideas.
• Care about shipping great software more than anything else.

• Existing skills or interest in coding with React, SwiftUI.

Requirements

• Experience designing enterprise, consumer, or prosumer products
• Comfortable thinking about 0→1 product design or large scale optimization
• Excellent communicator with team members and users
• Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills
• Comfort with prototyping or coding your ideas
• You care about shipping great software more than anything else.
• 5+ years of industry experience.

Bonus

• Some of our design team writes production code. We welcome existing skills or interest in coding with React, SwiftUI.

The cash compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $270,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
