Job Summary

As a Senior Director of Platform Product Management at FICO, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of market-leading decisioning platform capabilities. This role involves defining the long-term roadmap for infrastructure, APIs, developer experience, data management, security, operations, and shared services. You will lead and mentor a team of product managers, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure platform solutions meet high standards for performance, security, and scalability, empowering both internal and external customers with robust and innovative solutions.

Must Have

  • Define and drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for platform capabilities, including infrastructure, APIs, developer experience, data management, security & operations, observability, and shared services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of platform product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, security, operations, and business stakeholders to align platform investments with enterprise goals.
  • Influence senior leadership and partner teams to prioritize platform initiatives that drive scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Oversee the development of platform features that support multi-tenant architectures, integration frameworks, and extensibility.
  • Ensure platform solutions meet high standards for availability, performance, security, and defect reduction, with clear KPIs and continuous monitoring.
  • Champion observability practices to enable proactive issue detection, root cause analysis, and system health transparency.
  • Drive platform capabilities that support modern DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Advocate for data governance, accessibility, and integrity across platform services.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform platform strategy and innovation.
  • 20+ years of product management experience in the technology industry.
  • 10+ years of direct experience in platform product management, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade platform solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product teams.
  • Strong background in B2B platform development, including API ecosystems, developer tools, infrastructure services, and data platforms.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field and MBA or equivalent business education.

What We're Seeking
