Job Summary

As a Director Product Marketing on our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you will work hand-in-hand with customers, enabling them to transform Infineon products into cutting-edge designs, while building long-lasting partnerships. You will architect and execute bold go-to-market strategies to expand market share in Automotive Microcontrollers throughout EMEA, proactively empower Sales to exceed revenue targets, drive RFQs, support Design-win activities, formulate price negotiation strategies, and support Sales with Software offerings. You will also shape regional product strategy, define cutting-edge product requirements, and partner with Application Managers to provide market knowledge and product expertise.

Must Have

  • Architect and execute bold, results-driven go-to-market strategies to expand Infineon’s market share in Automotive Microcontrollers throughout EMEA
  • Proactively empower Sales to exceed revenue targets and secure high-value Design Wins through strategic guidance and market insights
  • Drive proactively RFQs at key automotive customers and identify key opportunities
  • Support Design-win activities & orchestrate x-regional alignments for EMEA home region customers worldwide
  • Formulate and lead decisive price negotiation strategies in alignment with the Product Line
  • Support Sales with Software offerings, including pricing, licensing, product positioning, and strategic partner offerings
  • Shape the regional product strategy for Automotive Microcontrollers, actively influencing the global roadmap
  • Define and capture cutting-edge product requirements, articulating clear and compelling USPs for next-generation solutions
  • Partner with regional and global Application Managers to equip stakeholders with decisive market knowledge and superior product expertise
  • A degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering or comparable
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience in semiconductor industry with broad and global experience in automotive, marketing, application engineering and management areas
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in Product or Technical Marketing
  • In-depth understanding of Automotive Microcontroller business incl. technical product understanding, market and competitor positioning and application skills
  • Expert price negotiation skills and product management experience
  • Understanding of how one’s role contributes to the achievement of business objectives
  • Fluent English language skills

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Architect and execute bold, results-driven go-to-market strategies, drive go-to-market approaches per customer and per product family in order to expand Infineon’s market share in Automotive Microcontrollers throughout EMEA
  • Proactively empower Sales to exceed revenue targets and secure high-value Design Wins through strategic guidance and market insights
  • Drive proactively RFQs at key automotive customers and identify key opportunities, ensure the right balance between increasing out market share and defending our profitability while introducing our latest products
  • Support Design-win activities & orchestrate x-regional alignments for EMEA home region customers worldwide
  • Formulate and lead decisive price negotiation strategies in alignment with the Product Line, driving RFQ and VPA discussions toward market-leading Design Wins
  • Support Sales with Software offerings, including pricing, licensing, product positioning, and strategic partner offerings - to unlock customer value; Shape the regional product strategy for Automotive Microcontrollers, actively influencing the global roadmap to meet evolving market demands and competitive dynamics
  • Define and capture cutting-edge product requirements, articulating clear and compelling USPs for next-generation solutions that drive profitable growth; Partner with regional and global Application Managers to equip stakeholders with decisive market knowledge and superior product expertise

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • A degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering or comparable
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience in semiconductor industry with broad and global experience in automotive, marketing, application engineering and management areas
  • Thereof at least 5 years relevant experience in Product or Technical Marketing
  • In-depth understanding of Automotive Microcontroller business incl. technical product understanding, market and competitor positioning and application skills
  • Expert price negotiation skills and product management experience
  • Understanding of how one’s role contributes to the achievement of business objectives
  • Fluent English language skills – German would be of great benefit!
