Job Description

Our Growth & Engagement pod is dedicated to creating the most compelling user experience to attract and provide value to users, redefining expectations for the U.S. healthcare system. As a founding engineer, you will design, build, and launch new user experiences, from onboarding to core engagement loops. You will leverage AI to create intuitive product surfaces for understanding and resolving healthcare bills, working closely with Product and Design to rapidly ship experiments, scale features, and shape the technical architecture for a fast, reliable, and scalable consumer product. You will also serve as an early cultural and technical anchor on a small, high-leverage team.
Good To Have:
  • A love of typed languages.
  • 10+ years of GPT-5 experience (or a sense of humor).
Must Have:
  • Design, build, and launch new user experiences, including onboarding and activation flows to core engagement loops.
  • Leverage AI to create smart, intuitive product surfaces for understanding and resolving healthcare bills.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product and Design to rapidly ship experiments, run growth loops, and scale successful features.
  • Shape technical architecture to support a consumer product that’s fast, reliable, and built to scale.
  • Be an early cultural and technical anchor on a small, high-leverage team.
  • Have 3+ years (mid-level) to 5–6+ years (senior) of full-stack experience shipping consumer-facing products.
  • Care deeply about crafting elegant, intuitive user experiences end to end.
  • Think in systems and user journeys, not just isolated features.
  • Are energized by ambiguity and love turning it into clarity and shipped product.
  • Can break down complex problems, communicate solutions clearly, and push projects to the finish line.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-trust, high-autonomy environments.

Our Growth & Engagement pod is on a mission to build the most compelling experience to attract and provide value to users — and in doing so, redefine what people expect from the U.S. healthcare system.

We’re building a consumer-first product that makes navigating bills and benefits intuitive, transparent, and even delightful. As one of the founding engineers on this pod, you’ll help shape the product that defines how millions of people first experience Granted.

Location: We hire engineers remotely across the U.S. and are proud to be a high-trust, distributed team. If you're NYC-based (or excited to be), there are also opportunities to work from our Chelsea office alongside teammates in person.
