Job Description

Make is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of an early-stage product, aiming to expand its reach. The role involves defining and executing the product strategy, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The Product Manager will also serve as a subject matter expert, engage with users, and document product requirements. They will also be responsible for prioritizing defects and advocating for the product. This role requires a strong understanding of SaaS, automation/integration, and excellent communication skills.
Must have:

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of one of our early-stage products with a mission to expand the reach of Make beyond our current platform. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of how SaaS businesses integrate automation and integration capabilities with unparalleled simplicity. The ideal candidate would possess a strong understanding of the SaaS landscape, automation/integration market, and familiarity with our product offerings and a strong desire to learn and become an expert. Success in this role demands deep collaboration with diverse stakeholders across our business, including engineers, designers, customers, and partners. What you’ll do:
  • Define and execute upon the product strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the leadership team and broader organization;

  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize customer and market opportunities specifically related to expanding Make’s reach through the means of the product, aligning these with our overarching product vision;

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and evangelist for the product, showcasing its potential, benefits and driving for an outstanding user experience;

  • Continuously engage with users, customers, partners, and engineers to deeply understand their needs and deliver exceptional product solutions that address real-world challenges;

  • Document epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with a strong focus on the specific requirements and considerations for a platform product;

  • Collaborate with the development team to triage and prioritize defects, ensuring the quality and reliability of the product;

  • Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for the product in company-wide, product, and engineering meetings, public appearances, and other forums;

You are an ideal candidate for the role, if you have:
  • Strong understanding of best practices in product management, agile development methodologies, and SaaS business models;

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and collaborative approach with exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a product management role, ideally with some exposure to platform products, automation/integration tools, or SaaS APIs; Professional experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate customer needs into technical solutions, as well as proven ability to communicate and understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear business value propositions;

  • Experience as an advanced user of automation (Low and NoCode), integration, SaaS APIs, and/or no-code software solutions is a plus;

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field with a strong technical aptitude.

  • Excellent written and verbal fluency in English.
