The Product Manager for Player Insights (CRM) will be responsible for the overall product strategy, roadmap development, and documentation for AI products used by over 100 customers. This includes analyzing customer needs, managing product roadmaps, creating product specifications, monitoring product KPIs, conducting market research, and ensuring timely releases. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operational teams, as well as managing platform integration and vendor relationships. Additionally, the Product Manager will serve as the primary technical contact, advocate for user experience, provide training, and support marketing activities.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in product or technical roles in sports betting or casino.
  • Understanding of Marketing & CRM Player Life Cycles with passion for sports and iGaming.
  • Technical product management experience with understanding of client/web technologies.
  • Product-level experience with APIs, data technologies, and querying languages.
  • Strong English language skills (spoken and written).

Sportradar is a worldwide leader in sports data and audiovisual services for bookmakers. Over the course of the last years Sportradar significantly expanded its range of products & services by acquiring Vaix.ai, the industry leader for Deep Learning AI for Personalization and CRM, first to market bringing Netflix and Spotify to Sports and iGaming.

Receiving and training on hundreds of Gigabytes / tens of millions rows of data per day, Vaix is building a wide range of Machine Learning solutions, from Predicting Player Value, Churn prevention and Personalized bonusing, to Personalization & Recommender models & Natural Language Processing. We process hundreds of API requests per second from operators and respond back with latency in milliseconds.

Vaix is now looking to recruit an experienced & passionate Product Manager with good understanding of the gaming industry, product and technology to join our Player Insights (CRM) team and grow our AI products used by our over 100 customers.

THE CHALLENGE:

Contribution to the overall Product strategy of Player Insights (CRM).

  • Strategic Product Ownership & Roadmap Development: Take full responsibility for product/feature strategy and delivery against business objectives. Develop and own product roadmaps by analyzing customer needs, business requirements, and market/tech demands while negotiating launch timelines with development teams and managing dependencies.
  • Product Requirements & Documentation: Create comprehensive product requirements, specifications, business cases, and documentation for complex products and features. Systematically capture learnings and maintain product knowledge repositories for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Develop, monitor, and improve product KPIs with analytics team support. Lead ongoing optimization, rapid problem resolution, and identify efficiency opportunities that remove operational obstacles.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation: Regularly conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify improvement opportunities. Collect and generate new product ideas and enhancements from internal and external sources, identifying business opportunities that address customer needs.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Work closely with development, QA, and operational teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Own and drive User Acceptance Testing before and after launch while developing scalable monitoring and testing processes.
  • Platform Integration & Vendor Management: Ensure seamless integration with the Vaix and Sportradar platform ecosystem while selecting and maintaining relationships with external vendors required for product development.
  • Communication: Serve as primary technical contact for Sales, Account Management, and customers throughout all project phases. Resolve product, operational, and technical queries while providing excellent customer service and solving integration pain points within agreed SLAs.

  • User Experience Advocacy: Champion user experience as essential for API and AI development, promoting user-centered and player journey-focused approaches throughout the team and company.
  • Training, Mentoring & Marketing Support: Train and mentor colleagues across account management and sales to enhance product knowledge and customer interactions. Support product marketing activities, pre-sales efforts, and collaborate with marketing/PR teams on product-specific materials.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build successful relationships across all company functions and jurisdictions, effectively communicating complex information and influencing stakeholders to negotiate solutions and manage dependencies.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Industry & Domain Expertise: 2+ years experience in product or technical roles, ideally in Sports betting or Casino. Understanding of Marketing & CRM Player Life Cycles with passion for sports and iGaming. Experience working in large-scale, agile sales and operational environments.
  • Technical & Product Management Skills: Technical product management experience with understanding of client/web technologies and multiple channels. Product-level experience with APIs, data technologies, and querying languages (SQL, R, Python). Experience in player journey optimization and web/software user interface development.
  • Tool Proficiency & Data Analysis: Proficient in product management tools including MS Office, Figma, Miro, Jira, Slack, and others. KPI-driven with proven ability to query, analyze, and understand data using required analytical tools.
  • Communication & Presentation Excellence: Strong English language skills (spoken and written), with additional languages as a plus. Ability to present business and technical concepts clearly across all formats, including sales pitches and internal meetings. Skilled at communicating scope, timelines, and expectations while delivering difficult messages without political influence.
  • Leadership & Relationship Management: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality and excellent time management skills. Proactive in building and monitoring relationships with customers and internal teams focused on Vaix product optimization.
  • Problem-Solving & User Focus: Creative thinker experienced in identifying client pain points and connecting them to feature configuration and production solutions. Passionate about technology, user experience, and helping others with a "get things done the right way" attitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive to continuously optimize performance, identify breakdown points, and willingness to bridge gaps and solve issues hands-on with cross-functional contributors while maintaining high standards.
  • Flexibility: Willing to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, to support business needs and customer relationships.
