Job Details

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Owner to lead the Evergreen Content Cell on Hunter: Call of the Wild. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and managing a rich catalogue of content our players love: reserves, weapons, equipment, and much more.

This content is a cornerstone of our game, and represents our largest developer commitment with around 40 developers assigned to the cell. You’ll work alongside a cross-disciplinary leadership team, ensuring the cell is healthy and continues to deliver engaging experiences our players enjoy.

As this is a senior level position, there will be opportunities to assist in other areas as well, potentially increasing the scope of the role and tasks attached.

In this role, you’ll report directly to the overall Game Product Director.

What you'll do

    • Define KPIs and set measurement frameworks for our staple content like reserves, weapons and more. Collaborate with project leadership to set quality bars for investment areas.
    • Develop a compelling long term vision for gameplay content, ensuring our players will love the game even more in years to come
    • With the leads team, create a long term roadmap that continues to deliver quality content along an expected cadence, while always thinking about new offerings that can one day become beloved evergreens.
    • Understand the players, their needs and our content better than anyone. You’ll be the expert on what content works and what doesn’t, and how we better serve the players over time
    • Establish validation roadmaps, structures, and measurements for testing and validating build deliverables with our player community
    • Ensure stakeholder deliverables and dependencies are aligned with the roadmap, closely collaborating with the Producer, developers, technical and publishing groups in order to hit new target development costs for key content types
    • Build business cases for, organize and lead complex initiatives and investments that have project-level impact

Who you are

    • 5+ year of experience in either product management or game design leadership
    • Managed or contributed to a P&L, product roadmaps and product requirements
    • Experience with the full product loop; goal setting, execution and success tracking
    • Enjoys uncertainty, has strong drive and motivation to create and lead
    • Experience driving collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders
    • Being able to clearly express desired outcomes, user stories and requirements in a prioritized backlog based on player value and ROI
    • Deep engagement with video games in general and subsequent knowledge of project management and large-scale investments and business cases
    • Experience working on live products
    • Experience working on larger game teams (50+ people)
    • Experience with and knowledge of Agile and Lean software development
    • A strong player empathy with our audience, either through playing TheHunter:Call of the Wild or a love for the outdoors
