Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Product Structure Controller. As a Product Structure Controller (PSC) for Defence Naval you’ll be responsible for several key elements of the skill set across various programs. In this role you will manage the product structure within Teamcenter as part of Change Manager functions with the PLM system. With this attractive opportunity you will implement engineering changes, maintain product structures, and will be the Defence Naval’s primary point of contact and local subject matter expert for all things related to PLM and Teamcenter. You will be expected to work across all Naval programs, recommending PSC activities and providing specific skills applicable to the relevant program maturity.
Must have:
  • Management of the Product Structure within Teamcenter
  • Key User / SME for PLM tools which include NX / TcEng (Team Center Engineering)
  • Management of assembly / balance drawings
  • Interface Management; incorporating agreed upon ICDs into NX assembly
  • Support weight, center of gravity, and moments of inertia roll-ups
  • Act as the focal point for subsystem geometry and associated data
  • Experience in both NX and Teamcenter
  • US citizen
Good to have:
  • Experience working as a Product Structure Controller within a technology demonstrator program and/or New Product Introduction environment
  • Experience supporting multiple engineering design, procurement, manufacturing and assembly
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment taking rational risks to meet customer deliverables
  • Experience supporting the transition of a program from prototype / demonstrator phase to full production phase

What you will be doing:

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience within the associated skillset or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience within the associated skillset or
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience within the associated skillset
  • Experience in both NX and Teamcenter
  • In order to be considered for this role you must be a US citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Product Structure Controller within a technology demonstrator program and/or New Product Introduction environment
  • Experience supporting multiple engineering design, procurement, manufacturing and assembly
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment taking rational risks to meet customer deliverables
