Job Description

The Project Manager will partner with internal teams to implement the Beacon platform for clients, acting as the central point of contact. This role involves building strong product knowledge, managing client relationships, applying project methodologies, and overseeing risk management processes. Key responsibilities include determining project scope, identifying resources, creating and managing project plans, ensuring transparency to stakeholders, and utilizing industry best practices. The manager will also engage with senior client and internal teams, support problem resolution, and identify process improvements, all while maintaining a client-service mentality.
Good To Have:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 2+ years of Fintech onboarding and/or software implementation experience.
Must Have:
  • Determine project scope and objectives for client implementations.
  • Identify resources, forecast, and resolve capacity issues.
  • Create and manage project plans, escalating as needed.
  • Publish high-quality project transparency to senior stakeholders.
  • Utilize industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage stakeholders to review project progress and status.
  • Liaise with internal teams for problem resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for project management process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree (computer science, finance, economics, or related field).
  • 5+ years project management/implementation experience in investment management.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools.
  • Methodical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Client-service mentality and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality.

The Project Manager will partner with internal teams to implement the Beacon platform for clients and serve as the central point of contact for the client and Beacon teams including Client Engineers and Delivery. This role will build strong product knowledge, manage a positive relationship with our clients, understand and apply project methodologies and risk management processes, and act as a point person for client-facing communication.

What You’ll Do:

  • Determine project scope and objectives to ensure teams are able to deliver against commitments
  • Identify resources to deliver projects and forecast and resolve capacity utilization problems
  • Create and manage project plans, course correcting and escalating where necessary
  • Publish high quality project transparency to senior stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Engage senior client and internal stakeholders to review project progress and task-level status.
  • Liaise with the internal teams to support problem resolution activities
  • Identify opportunities for project management process improvements

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required - computer science, finance, economics, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of project management/implementation and/or related experience at an investment management firm or vendor
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools
  • Methodical problem solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years of Fintech onboarding and / or software implementation experience preferred
  • A client-service mentality and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver with high quality

Salary Range

$102,000.00 - $144,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
