We give players an avatar that travels with them across thousands of experiences and becomes their virtual identity. For game developers, we are an end-to-end avatar system that saves development time and helps them monetize better. Our avatar tools are used by 9000+ games, apps, and leading brands.

Built by Ready Player Me, PlayerZero is an avatar collectible platform that lets users create, customize, and evolve their digital identities across games, social media, and collectibles marketplaces. Our mission is to provide users with a singular, consistent identity that seamlessly integrates across multiple games and virtual worlds, enhanced by digital collectibles that enable avatars to grow and level up.

About you: 

We are looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Protocol Product Lead to define and drive the product strategy for our interoperability protocol, from concept to MVP and beyond. You excel at leading cross-functional teams, engaging with external developers, and iterating based on usage data and feedback to ensure the protocol delivers measurable value to developers and end users.

Your daily adventures will include:

• Owning the design, product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our interoperability protocol.
• Working with stakeholders to craft a comprehensive whitepaper that defines the protocol's vision and value.
• Collaborating closely with the technical lead and a small cross-functional team to launch and refine a compelling MVP.
• Driving the protocol’s adoption by engaging with external developers and iterating based on usage data and feedback.
• Ensuring the protocol delivers tangible value to developers and users, empowering the creation of interoperable digital identities and virtual worlds.

What you bring:

• Blockchain / Web3 Familiarity
  • Understanding of L1/L2 ecosystems, NFT standards, bridging, and smart contract concepts (enough to communicate requirements with engineering).
  • Ability to translate technical protocol capabilities into user-centric value propositions.
• Product Management Expertise
  • Proven track record of working directly on Web3 protocols.
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
• Developer Relations and Ecosystem Building
  • Comfortable engaging with external developer teams, understanding their pain points, and shaping product features to address their needs.
  • Experience in or close collaboration with Developer Relations (DevRel), open-source communities, or technical partnerships.
• Analytical and Data-Driven
  • Skilled at setting measurable KPIs (e.g., developer integrations, user retention, bridging frequency) and interpreting results to guide decisions.
  • Familiar with basic analytics tools or dashboards to track protocol usage and adoption metrics.
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration
  • Able to articulate product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences, from investors to pilot developers.
  • Effective at cross-functional alignment, balancing business, technical, and user needs to prioritize roadmap initiatives.
• Startup Adaptability
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities with ease.
