Job Description

The Prototype Engineer - Logistics will be responsible for the realization and checking of prototypes, receiving components and shipping prototype and pre-serial units. This includes creating purchase orders, managing component inventory, ensuring timely delivery to customers, and managing reworks within the prototype workshop. The role also involves contributing to the functioning and improvement of the prototype workshop, adhering to Valeo procedures, and potentially acting as a deputy to the Prototype Manager. The job also involves communication with suppliers and ensuring reworks are managed efficiently.

Must Have:

Experience in a similar logistics position.
Experience with communication with suppliers.
Knowledge of purchase orders.
Proficiency in English and Czech languages.

For our Prototype team in Power Division we are looking for a Prototype Engineer - Logistics:

YOUR CHALLENGES:

Realisation and checking of the prototypes
Reception components and expedition of prototype and pre-serial units (parts) from prototype phase to SOP
To receive the prototype and pre-serial requests (internal/external)
To make the component purchase order
To receive the components in time with the right index
To take up and to control the components and to store them
To update the prototype and pre-serial stock
To ensure the delivery to customer (internal/external)
To manage the planning for the supply and delivery
Management of reworks in the prototype workshop for serial production -to ensure the rework sheets for all reworks
To ensure enough people for reworks
Manage the planning of the reworks quantity
Contribute to functioning and improvement of the prototype workshop -to follow the
Budget by prototype order
To contribute to the functioning of the prototype workshop (5S, Good Ideas, meetings, ...
To follow and to ensure compliance with the Valeo procedures regarding legal and security legal and security
To apply the procedures and the rules of the site linked to the environment and the security
To be deputy of Prototype Manager
