Job Summary
Job Description
This project involves developing a web application for running and visualizing scientific experiments and mathematical models. The primary responsibility is to build a web-based application for semantic search on scientific knowledge. The role requires strong Python and Streamlit skills for interactive web applications, UI/UX design capabilities, and experience with Azure Cloud (ADLS, Key Vault) and CI/CD practices.
Must have:
- Strong hands-on experience in Streamlit for building interactive web applications and parameterized analysis tools, including converting CLI to web Application UI and integration with Snowflake enterprise.
- Strong Python coding skills, with a very good understanding of R for rewriting R scripts into Python.
- Ability to design intuitive front-end interfaces for UI/UX.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, specifically ADLS and Key Vault.
- Familiarity with CI/CD & DevOps, including Github enterprise / Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, showing initiative and self-direction.
- Initiative in identifying and resolving issues independently.
- Experience balancing priorities and managing expectations on deliverables.
- Strong sense of responsibility for deliverables and timelines.
- Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving requirements.
Good to have:
- Strong data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning skills in Snowflake.
- Experience with Power BI, Azure Functions, and Data Factory.
