QA Automation Engineer

Wargaming is expanding its Platform team and seeks a talented QA Automation Engineer to engage in interesting projects. The Platform provides web-services for game operations and player accounts, including game distribution, registration, authentication, payments, communication, player relations management, and inter-game/service interaction. Responsibilities include performing and maintaining various testing procedures (e.g., e2e, integration, regression, API, UI, performance), collaborating with other teams, working closely with the development team during Sprints, and participating in releases.

Must Have

• 3+ years’ experience in web-application testing
• 1+ years’ experience in automation testing
• Knowledge of Python and experience developing test scripts (using Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, or other frameworks)
• Understanding of the software development cycle and the role of testing within it
• Knowledge of testing methodology (functional, integration, automation, performance)
• General understanding of server-client architecture and network
• Experience working with REST API
• Experience working with database
• Experience working with message brokers such as Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Experience working with bug trackers and case management systems
• Experience working with Git/SVN
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• B2 level of English

• Experience working with Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity/Jenkins/Bamboo)

Job Overview

The Platform team is growing and is looking for talented QA Automation Engineer who will enthusiastically dive into interesting projects.

Platform is a set of web-services which provides a functionality for operating games and players accounts. The main Platform capabilities are:

• game distribution
• player's registration and authentication
• payments
• communication with players
• player relations management tool
• interaction between games with each other and different services.

What will you do?

• Perform testing procedures (maintain and update test documentation, create test scenarios, perform functional testing, etc.)
• Expand and maintain all kind of tests available in a project (e.g. e2e, integration, regression, API, UI, performance, etc.)
• Cooperate and communicate with other teams and departments within the company
• Work closely with a development team during Sprint
• Participate in releases

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years’ experience in web-application testing
• 1+ years’ experience in automation testing

##### The salary range for this role is EUR 3600-4400 monthly gross.
