As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the product development process, responsible for ensuring product reliability through thorough testing. Your duties will include designing QA test procedures, designing and implementing tests, debugging, and taking corrective actions. You will collaborate with the QA team to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and execute automation scripts. Responsibilities also encompass reviewing requirements, identifying and documenting bugs, performing regression testing, and working closely with internal teams to identify system requirements. The role involves monitoring debugging process results, tracking quality assurance metrics, and being familiar with testing tools and methodologies. You will also review test cases created by other team members. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.

Must have:

2-4 years Experience, BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related.
Proven experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and processes.
Experience in writing test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with white and black box testing.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience with API testing and Postman.
Experience in Mobile Application Testing.

Good to have:

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Experience with performance and/or security testing.

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with our QA team in designing QA test procedures. As a QA engineer, you will be designing and implementing tests, debug and take corrective actions. You play a vital role in the company’s product development process. You will be responsible for testing the product before launches to ensure that the product is free from errors and reliable.

Responsibilities:

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools. ● Identify, record, document, and track bugs using respective tools.
Perform regression testing
Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.
Review Testcases created by other team members

Qualifications

2-4 years Experience, BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools- Preferable
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience with API testing and Postman tool
Experience in Mobile Application Testing
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
