Supersolid is seeking a QA Engineer to join its expanding QA team, collaborating with existing QA and Development teams on titles like Cook & Merge. This role focuses on elevating testing processes, performing daily high-quality testing, and defect tracking on live titles. Must have:
  • Perform high-quality testing and defect tracking on live titles.
  • Report defects to company standard and maintain database integrity.
  • Assist development team with internal testing and bug fixing.
  • Develop core knowledge of company titles and document findings.
  • Investigate issues reported by external parties.
  • 3+ years of experience in Functional Games QA.
  • Strong eye for detail and defect investigation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to self-manage deadlines and time.
  • Experience with Jira or other project-tracking software.
  • Experience working with development teams in an embedded capacity.
  • Entitled to work in the UK without sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Job Description

Supersolid is looking for a QA Engineer to join our expanding QA team. You will collaborate closely with the existing QA and Development teams on current titles, such as Cook & Merge, helping to elevate our testing processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for daily high-quality testing and defect tracking on live titles. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within a fun and productive team, working with modern and progressive QA processes, while also learning to self-manage your goals and assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead Tester to perform testing of the highest quality within a development environment
  • Perform multiple tasks across a range of live and upcoming features when required by the release schedule
  • Report defects to the company standard and maintain database integrity
  • Assist the development team when required with internal testing and bug fixing
  • Develop a core knowledge base of the company’s titles and document findings
  • Investigate issues reported by external parties when required

Key Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Functional Games QA
  • An eye for detail and defect investigation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to self-manage deadlines and time
  • Experience with Jira or other project-tracking software
  • Experience working with development teams in an embedded capacity
