POSITION Codeway is seeking a highly experienced and motivated QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building robust, multi-platform QA systems and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality mobile products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Developers, and Production teams to optimize our release processes, implement best practices, and enhance overall product quality. This is an opportunity for a QA professional looking to take on a leadership role and drive process improvements across the organization. ‍ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING? ·       Develop and Oversee QA Systems: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive QA systems across multiple digital platforms to ensure the highest quality of our products. ·       Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product Managers, Developers, and Exec teams to streamline and optimize our release processes. ·       Standardize QA Practices: Establish and enforce consistent bug reporting, processes, and best practices to ensure uniformity and efficiency in our QA operations. ·       Enhance QA Processes: Continuously refine existing QA processes and structures, and develop new strategies to facilitate effective multi-studio collaboration. ·       Strategize Testing Plans: Work with the Production team to develop and execute robust testing strategies tailored to each project’s needs. ·       Quality Gate Collaboration: Coordinate with quality gate owners to ensure thorough quality checks are performed before each release. ·       Drive Quality Improvements: Collaborate with Development teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving overall product quality. ·       Prioritize Bug Fixes: Liaise with Product and Production teams to align on bug-fix priorities and ensure timely resolution. ·       Report on Quality Metrics: Prepare and present regular status reports on product quality, performance metrics, and testing outcomes. ·       Create Test Scenarios: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios to ensure thorough testing coverage. ‍ WHAT YOU'LL BRING? ·       Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior-level QA role within large mobile product development environments. ·       Expertise: In-depth understanding of software QA practices and terminology, particularly in the context of mobile applications. ·       Methodologies: Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and life-cycle processes. ·       Adaptability: Ability to research, learn, and integrate new techniques and technologies to meet project requirements. ·       Tool Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), software version control systems, and MS Office tools. ·       Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and production teams. ·       Language Proficiency: Proficient in written and spoken English. ‍ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ·       Test Case Development: Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases. ·       Testing Techniques: Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing methodologies. ·       Agile Experience: Experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes. ·       QA Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. ·       Mobile QA: Experience in quality assurance for both iOS and Android applications. ·       Educational Background: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ·       Automation Tools: Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or EarlGrey. ·       Specialized Testing: Experience with performance, security, smoke, and regression testing. ·       API Testing: Familiarity with tools like PostMan. ‍
