Job Description

Radical Forge, a UK-based developer known for co-development and original IPs like 'Bright Paw' and 'Southfield', is seeking a Mid-Level QA Technician. Must have:

Our Mission

Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021 the company created their first original IP, 'Bright Paw', which was published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google and iOS by Rogue Games. We are currently working on our newest IP, Southfield, which you can look forward to playing soon!!

Your Mission

  • Perform smoke checks and targeted testing.
  • Produce and maintain clear bug reports.
  • Working closely and supporting the wider development team.

Skills Summary

Essential

  • Proficient using MS Office/Google Suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with various platforms (Consoles, PC, mobile, VR)
  • Create and perform test plans
  • A proven track record of QA testing at least 1 game from start to completion.
  • Bug\defect tracking based experience such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla etc.

Desirable

  • Ability to work well with smalls team and independently
  • Familiarity with working alongside external QA teams.
  • Worked on a project for external clients
  • Be able to work autonomously

  • This role can be fully remote within the UK.
  • We will require all applicants to have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
  • The role will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term contract with the potential to extend after this.
