Job Title: QA Tester

Location: Tampere, Finland

Type: Full-time or internship

Iceflake Studios is currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. If you are interested in game testing, have a passion for ensuring high-quality gaming experiences, and like the sound of contributing to our various exciting game projects, we are eager to hear from you.

You will work in close contact with the rest of the development team and help maintain and develop our QA processes. You would be working with our management titles on PC and on consoles.

Main responsibilities

• Identify issues and report them in our bug tracking database.
• Write clear and actionable bug reports for our development team.
• Test new features and provide feedback from the player’s perspective.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure our games meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, and the patience to repeat tasks to replicate and identify issues.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn about the QA process.
• Up-to-date understanding of technologies used in games.

Considered an advantage:

• Some experience in other fields such as design, UX, art, sound or programming.
• Experience playing a wide range of games from PC to console titles and in different genres.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience working with QA outsourcing.

Our office is located within a walking distance from downtown Tampere. You will have the ability to work remotely, but due to the highly collaborative nature of the work we expect you to be able to work at the office as well.
