The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mobile-focused QA automation, expertise in the specified tools, and strong skills in test case design and GitHub management. Experience with mobile app deployment via App Store Connect and Google Play is also required.
Must have:
  • 5+ years mobile QA automation experience

  • TypeScript expertise

  • Strong test case design skills

About the Client & the Project

At FEELD, they are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. They are building an inclusive, human-centered product and are looking for a QE Automation Engineer to become part of our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our QA lead to elevate our automation strategy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our end-to-end testing framework, ensuring that bugs are identified early in the development process. You'll be instrumental in broadening test coverage, enhancing test reliability, and nurturing a culture of ownership within our team, particularly within the automation domain.

What you will do:

  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Jest, WebDriverIO, and BrowserStack.

  2. Enhance test reliability through meticulous attention to small, passing tests and gradually expanding coverage.

  3. Integrate automated tests seamlessly into our CI/CD pipeline (GitHub) to facilitate continuous testing.

  4. Manage and optimize test case repositories in BrowserStack, enhancing visibility and reporting.

  5. Monitor test results in Sentry, swiftly identifying issues and collaborating with the development team to resolve them.

  6. Cultivate a culture of ownership in QA automation, fostering continuous improvement across the team.

How you will grow:

  • Gain deeper expertise in mobile-focused QA automation, honing your skills in TypeScript, Appium, Jest, WebDriverIO, and BrowserStack.

  • Enhance your ability to collaborate effectively within remote teams, leveraging your experience to contribute to our inclusive and supportive work environment.

About you:

  • You have a solid foundation in TypeScript and are comfortable writing automated test cases with it.

  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in mobile-focused QA automation.

  • You demonstrate expertise in Appium, Jest, WebDriverIO, and BrowserStack, ensuring a robust testing framework.

  • Your strong skills in test case design and GitHub management enable efficient test execution and reporting.

  • You have experience with mobile app deployment via App Store Connect and Google Play, facilitating seamless integration of testing processes.

Bonus points:

  • You are interested in exploring additional automation tools and technologies to further enhance our testing capabilities.

  • You have experience working with error-tracking tools like Sentry, enriching our ability to identify and address issues promptly.
