ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Quality Coordinator II with experience in aerospace/medical devices. This role provides guidance on routine quality issues, coordinates and monitors quality-related activities, and acts as a document and record control administrator. Responsibilities include preparing internal audit plans, conducting quality audits, preparing audit reports, tracking customer satisfaction, and maintaining training records. The role also involves managing CAPA records, calibration records, maintenance records, supplier evaluations, NDAs, corrective actions, supplier performance, receiving inspection records, and customer satisfaction records. Reporting duties include CAPA status reports, customer satisfaction reports, supplier performance reports, and preparing QMR presentations. The position also supports QMS maintenance, process documentation, document control, and ECO release. Minimal supervision is expected, with the individual largely working autonomously.

Summary:   Provides guidance to the organization on routine quality issues. Coordinates, monitors, and reports on quality-related activities of the organization. Serves as document and record control administrator and coordinates training for managers and staff.

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Internal quality oversight activities

  • Prepares internal audit plans, conducts quality audits and prepares audit reports.
  • Customer satisfaction tracking.
  • Maintains training records.

 

Record keeping

  • CAPA records, calibration records, maintenance records, and supplier evaluation records.
  • Supplier NDAs and corrective actions
  • Supplier performance monitoring
  • Receiving inspection records
  • Training records
  • Customer satisfaction records

 

Reporting

  • CAPA status reports: monthly
  • Customer satisfaction reporting: quarterly
  • Supplier performance reports: monthly
  • Collecting data for and preparing QMR presentations

 

QMS Maintenance

  • Process documentation development and updates.
  • Document Control.
  • Ensuring integrity of QMS process documents.
  • Assist in maintenance of product development processes.
  • ECO release.

 

Supervisory Needs and Responsibilities:

  • Minimal supervision: An individual will receive general guidance and oversight but is largely expected to work autonomously.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or liberal arts field, OR
  • Associate’s degree (or two years of college courses) in a technical or liberal arts field plus two years’ work experience, OR
  • Four years’ experience in a quality role
