Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will apply your business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle. You will also focus on defining and implementing key metrics to effectively manage and assess the testing process, ensuring that test execution and defect resolution are handled efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in API and backend systems automation
- Strong in Java programming and hands-on experience on Java 8 and above features
- Strong REST API automation experience with REST Assured or others
- Experience in backend automation with messaging system (Kafka, MQ, Topic), Unix platform, XML, JSON messages using Java
- Good Experience with SQL, NoSQL and Database automation with Java
- Good Experience with UNIX
- Experience in Selenium UI automation
- Working experience with CUCUMBER, TestNG and other automation framework design
- Full understanding of SDLC, Test and Defect Lifecycle
- Working experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Centre)
- Supports achieving CI / CD goals where automation can be integrated with build pipeline(s)
- Works as functional domain expert for the application under test within the scrum and collaborating with extended teams across Hybrid Pod(s)
- Hands on experience with test planning and defining test strategy for the changes.
