Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem and the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Quantitative Developer with Java expertise. The Convert team at Binance focuses on delivering a user-friendly interface and seamless trading experiences, offering flexibility with a wide range of converted tokens and trade sizes. As a Quantitative Developer, you will engage in the full software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment, collaborating with the convert team to enhance trading models and liaise with trading and operations teams for product development and improvement. You will also be responsible for establishing and improving trading system infrastructure, identifying and resolving system bottlenecks and bugs, and being available during flexible hours for production emergencies. The role requires strong technical skills to deliver high-quality production code and a solid understanding of software design, architecture, development, and integration.
Good To Have:
- Experience with algorithmic trading systems, investment banks, hedge funds, or trading firms.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Mathematics/Algorithm-related field.
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience in Java application development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of software design, architecture, development, and integration.
- Solid knowledge of event processing, multi-threading, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with web services and REST.
- Ability to address production emergencies during flexible hours.

Responsibilities
- Engage in the full life cycle of software development, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Possess strong technical skills, enabling the delivery of high-quality production code.
- Collaborate with the convert team to enhance the effectiveness of trading models.
- Liaise with trading and operations teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Establish and improve trading system infrastructure to handle large scale positions and orders.
- Identify system bottlenecks and bugs, and implement solutions to address these issues.
- Be available during flexible working hours to address production emergencies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of project development for Java applications.
- Strong understanding of software design, architecture, development, and integration.
- Solid knowledge of event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration patterns, web services, and REST.
- Experience with algorithmic trading systems, investment banks, hedge funds, trading firms, or brokerages is a strong plus.
- Flexibility with location for this role, though our preference is for candidates working in Asian time zones.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Mathematics/Algorithm-related field is a bonus.
