Job Description

The Receiving Agent at Nintendo NY is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reconciling inventory; updating process flows and standard work procedures; reporting on inventory and quality issues; conducting inventory audits; supporting inventory write-off processes; making recommendations on slow-moving inventory; identifying trends leading to discrepancies; implementing process changes for improvement; and coordinating with Internal Audit on JSOX initiatives. This role requires strong analytical and mathematical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience in an automated packaging, distribution, or retail environment. The position is on-site in New York, NY.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Tracks, monitors, investigates and reconciles inventory.
  • Updates process flows and standard work procedures for materials, inventory and/or test software programs.
  • Reports on inventory and quality issues.
  • Coordinates and conducts scheduled inventory audits.
  • Supports inventory write-off processes. Makes recommendations to scrap, convert or retain slow moving and/or overstocked inventory.
  • Identifies trends that lead to inventory discrepancies. Implements process changes for corrective actions/continuous improvement of processes.
  • Coordinates with Internal Audit on Japan Sarbanes Oxley (JSOX) initiatives.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Two years experience in an automated packaging, distribution and/or retail environment.
  • Good math and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and job assignments.
  • Ability to present a professional image.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Requires developed skills through formal training or work experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

This position is onsite in New York, NY and not open to remote status at this time. 
   
This position includes a base pay range of $24.69 - $34.47 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Please see our  for more benefits information.
