Job Description

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and supporting the full sales lifecycle within an assigned territory. This role combines independent sales initiative with collaborative team selling to exceed customer expectations and accelerate the adoption of SigmaNEST software solutions. Key responsibilities include building and managing a robust sales pipeline, proactively prospecting leads, conducting customer check-ins and onsite visits, providing consultative sales support, and maintaining accurate CRM records. The role also involves ensuring customer satisfaction, representing SigmaNEST at events, and cultivating referenceable customers.
Must have:
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Proactively prospect and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly phone check-ins and biannual onsite visits with active customers.
  • Provide consultative sales support to promote add-on software sales and customer success.
  • Partner with the Head of Sales on product demonstrations, benchmarks, and customer site visits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, renewal, and long-term value through proactive engagement and support.
  • Represent SigmaNEST at regional and national trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Cultivate referenceable customers and share success stories to support broader sales efforts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, online demos, and proprietary software tools.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% within the assigned territory.
Good to have:
  • Experience selling to manufacturers or fabricators.
  • Familiarity with SigmaNEST, SolidWorks, or other CAD/CAM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Position Summary

This role combines independent sales initiative with collaborative team selling to exceed customer expectations and accelerate the adoption of SigmaNEST software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Ownership & Pipeline Development

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Proactively prospect and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Conduct quarterly phone check-ins and biannual onsite visits with active customers.
  • Provide consultative sales support to promote add-on software sales and customer success.

Sales Process Support

  • Partner with the Head of Sales on product demonstrations, benchmarks, and customer site visits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Customer Care & Retention

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, renewal, and long-term value through proactive engagement and support.

Marketing & Brand Representation

  • Represent SigmaNEST at regional and national trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Cultivate referenceable customers and share success stories to support broader sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical or industrial sector.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, online demos, and proprietary software tools.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to manufacturers or fabricators.
  • Familiarity with SigmaNEST, SolidWorks, or other CAD/CAM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
