Apple is seeking a Reliability Engineer for its Wireless Design group. The role involves driving reliability requirements across various Wireless vendors. Key responsibilities include reviewing reliability test plans, auditing vendor reliability tests, leading failure analysis, understanding root causes of failures, and analyzing field exposure risks. The engineer will also ensure silicon/package qualification test requirements are met and assess field risks through statistical analysis of failure rates. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and involves domestic and international travel.

As a Reliability Engineer for the Wireless Design group, you will be responsible to drive all reliability requirements across multiple Wireless vendors. You will apply your expertise to review all reliability test plans and audit the reliability tests at the vendor labs. This role will also include leading failure analysis, root cause understanding of the failure and analyzing field exposure risk in the event of a failure.

-In the event of a reliability failure, drive failure analysis at vendor
-Assess field risks through statistical analysis of reliability failure rate
