Job Description

This Remanufacturing Technician Apprenticeship in Tilburg, starting January 2025, involves testing and repackaging electromechanical assemblies according to specifications. Apprentices will follow established procedures, maintain inventory records, operate testing equipment, and adhere to safety regulations. The role requires good reading comprehension, proficiency with hand tools and computers, and C1 level English. The apprentice will work under the supervision of a team supervisor and mentor, gradually taking on more responsibility and learning new processes. Repetitive tasks and occasional strenuous work may be involved. Successful candidates must be enrolled in education for the apprenticeship's duration.

Please note: In order to be considered, you must be enrolled in education for the full duration of the apprenticeship.

The Remanufacturing technician apprentice reports to the Team Supervisor & Mentor. You will be responsible for testing and repacking sensitive electromechanical assemblies to specification according to provided instructions, and documenting your work as required. Whilst learning new skills and providing progress input to the mentor.

What You’ll Do
  • Works on assignments that are of low difficulty, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations together with technicians and lead technician
  • Follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments. Advanced persons maintain the same level and quality of work while receiving little instruction on routine assignments, and only general instruction on newly introduced assignments
  • Maintains inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to process
  • Routinely operates general voltage testing equipment, and other test equipment as required
  • Performs standardized work as written in instructions and follows guidance from Mentor
  • Applies acquired work skills to established and learn new processes
  • Takes on and completes moderately difficult assignments with (little) supervision
  • Maintains a clean and safe workstation
  • Knows, understands, and applies the basic guidelines of 5S's or is willing to learn this during internship
  • Understands, supports, and follows company safety rules and policies
What You’ll Bring
  • Following an education in a technical area/ field
  • Good reading skills with ability to comprehend, perform, and complete routine detailed instructions and standardize work with continued supervision
  • Proficient with hand tools and computer-based tools. Proficiency with electrical test equipment, and computer databases is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand (manufacturing) instructions
  • Level C1 of English (spoken and written) and able to communicate through company Email
  • Ability to perform repetitive duties is a preference / a self-starter, and quality focused
  • Possible Shift work and ability to perform occasional strenuous tasks
