This role is for a Risk Analyst focusing on Mobility & Driver services for Gojek in Indonesia and Singapore. The analyst will oversee service quality and compliance for drivers, aiming to ensure they meet company standards and act as good ambassadors. Responsibilities include serving as a primary contact for risk and quality matters in Singapore and Indonesian Logistics services, providing analytical support for issues impacting Gojek's reliability, and designing data-driven countermeasures. Collaboration with operations, care units, and business teams is essential, along with pitching countermeasures to stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on data analysis using SQL and understanding statistical concepts.

About the Role

You will be a part of the team overseeing the risk management for Gojek Drivers for Indonesia and Singapore, and will report directly to the Driver Risk Manager. This particular role will be overseeing the service quality and compliance aspect of drivers. You will be instrumental in assisting and driving initiatives related to: ensuring drivers are (1) performing up to our standards, and (2) be a good ambassador for Gojek’s trustworthiness and reliability as a platform and service provider.

What you will do

    • Become the main counterpart for Risk/Quality related matters in Singapore operations stream, and Indonesian Logistics services stream.
    • Provide support to other streams within the team as necessary.
    • Provide timely and solid analysis for issues with potential adverse impact to Gojek’s reliability and trustworthiness.
    • Using a data driven approach to show and prove the existence and severity of an issue clearly.
    • Based on solid analysis, design countermeasures (corrective/preventive) while leveraging available internal tools, and if needed, by collaboration with other teams. Balancing between business needs and feasibility of said countermeasures.
    • Pitch said countermeasures to relevant stakeholders.
    • Work together with many different stakeholders such as operations, care unit, and business team.
    • Assist said stakeholders for risk related matters.

What you will need

    • 2+ years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in fraud/risk domain is preferred)
    • Adept at wrangling both structured & unstructured data and crunching insights with the help of SQL (we are using BigQuery and MaxCompute). Experience in Python, R, etc is not mandatory but will be very welcome.
    • Able to adopt basic statistical analysis for business context, such as identifying certain patterns or certain irregularities/anomalies in data.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders.
    • Working level English proficiency. This role will be dealing with stakeholders outside of Indonesia.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders.
    • Should be able to work independently, take quick decisions & recommend effective solutions on a day-to-day basis, and always backed by strong data points.
