Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer (React), you will be part of a team of experienced developers in an Agile environment. You will develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. This role requires experience with JavaScript frameworks (4+ years, with a minimum of 2 years with React), a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+), DOM/CSS/SASS/HTML, unit testing, and Web APIs (ideally GraphQL). You will need to be comfortable in a fast-moving environment and contribute to a culture of innovation, fun, and collaboration.
Good To Have:
- Ruby on Rails experience
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with databases (MariaDB/Postgres)
- Experience in an Agile environment
Must Have:
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React)
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
- Strong understanding of DOM/CSS/SASS/HTML
- Experience in unit testing
- Experience using Web APIs (GraphQL preferred)

About the role
We are a leading provider of Real Estate CRM in Australia and New Zealand and have ambitious growth plans in the immediate future. We are looking to add a talented software engineer to our development team.
You will be part of a team of experienced, friendly and committed developers operating in an Agile environment. As a React Developer, you will help develop the next generation of our apps. Familiarity with React and its ecosystem is essential so past experience with a React codebase is a must. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with a fast-moving environment, can learn quickly, and will fit into our culture of innovation, fun and collaboration. You will help develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
Required Skills
Professional experience with JavaScript frameworks (4+ years with a minimum of 2 years React)
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+)
Strong understanding of the DOM/CSS/SASS/HTML
Experience in unit testing
Experience using Web APIs (ideally GraphQL)
An appreciation of UI details and responsive designs
Some backend experience (e.g. Rails, PHP, Java, Node, .Net Core)
Desirable Skills:
Ruby on Rails experience would be highly regarded
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with databases such as MariaDB and/or Postgres
Experience in an Agile, Scrum, Kanban environment
