About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an exceptional enablement leader to build and scale our go-to-market capabilities across EMEA and APAC. As International Enablement Lead, you'll be the architect of how our customer-facing teams in these regions learn, grow, and succeed in selling cutting-edge AI technology.

This is a rare opportunity to shape enablement from the ground up across two of our fastest-growing regions. You'll translate complex AI concepts into training that sticks, ensuring our sellers in EMEA, and APAC can confidently position Claude to solve real enterprise challenges. Your work will directly impact the success of dozens of customer-facing professionals across multiple time zones and, ultimately, our ability to bring safe, transformative AI to organizations worldwide.

Reporting to the Global Head of Enablement, you'll have autonomy to design region-specific programs for EMEA and APAC while leveraging our global best practices. You'll work at the intersection of AI innovation and sales excellence, helping our international teams become thought leaders in the space.

What you'll do

Build and lead enablement across EMEA and APAC

  • Own end-to-end enablement for customer-facing teams across both regions, from curriculum design through delivery
  • Create scalable enablement programs, sales plays and training materials for partners
  • Create region-specific training programs that account for local market dynamics, cultural nuances, sales cycles, and customer needs in EMEA and APAC
  • Establish the frameworks and processes that will scale as our teams grow across European, Middle Eastern, African, and Asia-Pacific markets

Drive seller productivity and effectiveness

  • Partner closely with EMEA and APAC Sales leaders to align enablement priorities with regional GTM strategies
  • Identify the core competencies that make our Business Development Representatives, Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success productive in these markets, then build training to develop those skills
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to create scalable, personalized learning experiences that work across time zones

Measure impact and iterate

  • Define and track KPIs that demonstrate enablement's impact on seller productivity, deal velocity, and win rates across both regions
  • Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders in EMEA and APAC to continuously improve programs
  • Make data-driven decisions about where to invest enablement resources regionally

Deliver engaging, effective training

  • Lead live training sessions across EMEA and APAC time zones using various formats: in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and self-paced content
  • Make complex AI technology accessible and actionable for diverse audiences across cultures and markets

You might be a good fit if you have

Enablement expertise

  • 10+ years leading enablement programs, with specific experience building programs across EMEA and APAC regions
  • Proven track record designing and delivering enablement at fast-growing technology companies with international teams
  • Strong grasp of modern sales methodologies and how to adapt them for different markets

Technical and storytelling chops

  • 7+ years in customer-facing roles selling complex technology (AI/ML, enterprise software, or similar)
  • Ability to distill complicated technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across cultures
  • Experience collaborating across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to create cohesive stories

The right approach

  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute
  • Natural facilitator who can command a (virtual or physical) room across different cultural contexts
  • Data-driven mindset with strong project management and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building something new across multiple regions
  • Collaborative leader who can influence stakeholders at all levels without formal authority
  • Flexibility to work across EMEA and APAC time zones as needed

The expected base compensation for this position is below. Our total compensation package for full-time employees includes equity, benefits, and may include incentive compensation.

Annual Salary:

Logistics

Education requirements:

We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy:

Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship:

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Come work with us!

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco.
