Job Description

The job role is for a Sales Team Leader. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in sales and distribution or business development, preferably from Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMCG, Fintech, or Device sales domains. The candidate should be a graduate or hold an MBA. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager and will manage a team of 10-20 field executives. Key responsibilities include growing distribution and market share, ensuring visibility through QR and sound box deployment, recruiting and leading the sales team, coaching and mentoring team members, planning market strategies, communicating targets effectively, monitoring quality parameters, conducting audits, and ensuring team presence in sales and usage areas.
Must have:
  • 2-8 years of sales and distribution experience
  • Experience in Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMCG, Fintech, or Device sales
  • Graduation or MBA
  • Ability to manage a team of 10-20 field executives
  • Skills in coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to devise communication methods for plans/targets
  • Ability to monitor quality parameters
  • Ability to validate and conduct audits
  • Ensure team is in the market for sales and usage

Job Role - Sales Team Leader

Expectations/ Requirements

Candidates from Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech or Device sales domain will be preferred.

 Experience: 2-8 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development.

Qualification – Graduation / MBA

Matrix : The role will report to the Area Sales Manager(ASM) and will have 10-20 field executives as direct reports.

    1.Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
2. Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product
3. Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
4. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned  ideas and concepts
5. Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE
6. Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap
7. Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management
8. Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team
9. Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done
