Bounteous x Accolite, a digital transformation consultancy, is seeking a Salesforce Technical Manager/Architect. This role involves leading a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical specialists, providing technical guidance, and overseeing Salesforce projects. The responsibilities include leading CPQ implementations, customization and development, integration with other systems, ensuring quality assurance, troubleshooting, and communicating with stakeholders. The candidate should promote and enforce information security practices and ensure data privacy standards are met, aligning with GDPR regulations. The role requires managing project timelines, budgets, and effective communication of technical solutions and project statuses.
Must have:
  • Lead and manage Salesforce developers, administrators, and specialists.
  • Provide technical guidance in Salesforce platform architecture.
  • Lead the design and implementation of CPQ solutions.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and senior management.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce.
  • Knowledge of integration methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Information Security Responsibilities

    • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
    • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
    • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
    • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities


    • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical specialists.
    • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance, support, and expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, design, and implementation.
    • CPQ Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and customization of CPQ solutions within the Salesforce platform.
    • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects within established timelines and budgets.
    • Customization & Development: Direct the customization, configuration, and development of Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
    • Integration: Collaborate with other departments to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes in Salesforce development.
    • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to Salesforce applications.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical solutions, project statuses, and strategies to stakeholders and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Extensive experience (typically 7+ yrs) working with Salesforce platform, including implementation, customization, and administration.
    • Strong leadership skills and prior experience managing technical teams, specifically in CPQ projects.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce technologies: Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, etc.
    • Knowledge of integration methodologies and tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, Middleware).
    • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Information Security and Data Privacy

    • Ensure any sensitive information of the project/organization stays protected as per the guidelines of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and report any breach, vulnerability or threat to the respective Data Protection Officer (DPO) without delay
    • Ensure all data of the customer/organization processed must be done on one of the following lawful bases: consent, contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public task or legitimate interests
    • Adherence to GDPR and ISMS standards to value privacy at every level
