We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Associate to join our Security Administration team, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM). In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding access to critical banking systems by managing provisioning and deprovisioning requests across the enterprise. You will collaborate closely with business units to ensure timely and accurate access management, adhering to the highest standards of governance and compliance. Your responsibilities will include processing access requests, leading incoming requests via ServiceNow, maintaining service account integrity for LSEG and CORP environments, collaborating with internal stakeholders on access controls, and contributing to continuous improvement within the IAM function.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Security Associate to join our Security Administration team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. In this role, you’ll play a key part in safeguarding access to critical banking systems by handling provisioning and deprovisioning requests across the enterprise.

You’ll work closely with business units to ensure timely and accurate access management, while upholding the highest standards of governance and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and fulfill access provisioning and deprovisioning requests across multiple critical banking platforms.
  • Review and lead incoming requests via ServiceNow, ensuring actions are taken in line with defined SLAs.
  • Maintain and supervise the integrity and governance of service accounts for both LSEG and CORP environments.
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators to ensure access controls align with security policies and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IAM function.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable experience in Identity and Access Management, preferably in a financial services or regulated environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Confidence in handling high volumes of requests with accuracy and vitality.
  • Familiarity with service account governance and access control standard methodologies.
  • A collaborative approach and a dedication to operational perfection.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience working in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or a related security operations role.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for managing access requests.
  • Good understanding of access provisioning/deprovisioning workflows and service account governance.
  • Ability to interpret and apply security policiescompliance standards, and audit requirements.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Desirable

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as banking or financial services.
  • Familiarity with Active DirectoryLDAP, or other directory services.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and SLA-driven service delivery.
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting for access management tasks.
