Job Description

As a Senior 3D Character Artist for Riot Games, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of high-quality, stylized 3D character assets, ensuring they align with the creative direction and character benchmarks. You will collaborate closely with delivery managers, designers, engineers, other artists, and art directors to maintain alignment on vision and priorities. Your role involves contributing to the final material adjustments of 3D characters to enhance the game's atmosphere and depth, as well as producing functional props. Utilizing your artistic and technical expertise, you will create stunning visuals that convey important game information, and your skills in asset conversion and system setup will enable you to reimagine existing elements and create fresh visual experiences that resonate with players. You will also ensure all assets perform well technically and are consistent with the project's vision and theme, actively participating in optimization and iteration.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with stylized NPR and PBR workflows
  • Good aesthetic sense, understanding anatomy, form, and color theory
  • Proficient in Maya/3D Max, Zbrush, Substance, and UE engine
  • Strong hand-drawing experience required
Good to have:
  • Pre-production development experience
  • Experience shipping one or more game projects
  • Familiarity with the League of Legends IP and style
  • In-depth experience with one or more mainstream games
  • Portfolio required with high-quality stylized character assets

所需资格:

  • 工作经验5年以上
  • 熟悉风格化NPR和PBR流程制作
  • 具备较好的审美,了解人体解剖学,形态,和色彩理论
  • 熟练掌握建模软件Maya/ 3D Max, 雕刻软件Zbrush,贴图制作软件Substance,以及UE引擎使用
