Senior Audit Associate professional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engagement planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Execution of audit, review, and compilation programs, along with workpaper preparation and review. Supervision and mentoring of audit associates, staff accountants, and para-professional staff are key. Assistance with audit, accounting, financial reporting consulting, and regulatory reporting matters is also required. The role involves staff development, training, and performance review, as well as participation in continuing professional education, practice development (marketing), and recruiting activities. Assistance in other client service areas and firm administrative duties, along with necessary travel for client or firm professional duties, are part of the role.
