Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SDET with strong leadership and management skills to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by leading and mentoring a team of SDETs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, automating test suites, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using various testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
- Analyze test results, identify and report bugs, and track them to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the overall success of the engineering team by fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an SDET or Software Engineer with a strong focus on testing.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and suites.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, BDD).
- Experience with testing tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Jenkins, Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for quality and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress or TestCafe
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Experience with mobile application testing.
- Experience with test data management.
